Geography
The village is located on the left (southern) plain bank of the Ozernaya River, which flows into the Sea of Okhotsk, opposite the village of Zaporozhye, with which it is associated with an automobile bridge.

Story
It arose in 1907. Initially, Lake, then Unterbergerovka or Unterberger in honor of Governor-General P.F. Unterberger [2]. After transforming the village to the working village in 1948, he began to be called Ozernovsky.
On October 13, 2020, a massive ejection of dead hydrobionts was discovered at the village of Ozernovsky, similar to what was previously observed in the water area of the Khalalactyr beach [3].

Economy
The largest world spawning grounds Nerying. The main industries: fish industry (fishing and processing seafood). The largest enterprises are Ozernovsky RKZ No. 55 OJSC, Vityaz-Auto LLC. A significant part of the factory territories and mooring structures were built in the period from 1980 to 2010 on a site formed as a result of the recharge and strengthening of the shallow bank of the Ozernaya River [19]. The regional center is connected by air message through the Ozernaya Airport, located in the village of Zaporozhye. Before the village of Oktyabrsky, there is a dirt road along the coast of the Sea of Okhotsk, with crossings of the Koshchek, Opala and large rivers in the summer [20].
